What’s Included in Our Educational Tours to Europe?

Planning school trips abroad can be extremely overwhelming. Balancing logistics and budgeting, all while trying to build a meaningful learning experience requires lots of effort. At Engaged Education, we believe educators should lead learning, not logistics. That is why our educational tours to Europe are completely all-inclusive and intentionally designed around experiential learning and social impact.

If you’re ready to take your students beyond basic sightseeing, our Spain Immersion Program offers the perfect blueprint for a worry-free, life-changing educational Europe trip.

A 10-Day Journey Through Spain

Our specialized student tours to Spain feature a full 10-day itinerary split between two of the country’s most historic and innovative cities: Barcelona and Madrid.

Every detail of the experience is built into the program fee, ranging from approximately $3,900 to $4,500 per student, which includes flights. For groups organizing the program alone without flights, the cost is $3,200 per student (for a minimum of 12 students). To support educators, we also offer one free chaperone spot for every six students in a group.

Here is exactly what is covered in the trip cost:

  • Accommodations & Transit: All hotel stays, airport transfers, public transport, and regional train tickets (including the train from Barcelona to Madrid) are fully arranged.

  • All Meals: No student or teacher has to worry about budgeting for food on the ground. All breakfasts, lunches, and dinners are fully included every single day of the tour.

  • Local Experts: Local guides accompany the group to share authentic stories, helping students connect deeply with Spanish culture rather than just looking at landmarks from a distance.

Experiential Learning Over Simple Sightseeing

We design our educational tours to Europe to help students build leadership, empathy, and teamwork. Our itinerary strikes a perfect balance between exploring world-famous landmarks and interacting directly with local communities.

In Barcelona, students will take a guided walking tour of the historic center, see the breathtaking Sagrada Familia and Park Güell, and take a day trip to the Montserrat Monastery, and enjoy a bike tour along the waterfront. However, the real magic happens during immersive workshops, like a cooking class with the Mescladis project, a local initiative promoting social inclusion.

In Madrid, the journey continues with a comprehensive city tour and a guided visit to the world-renowned Prado Museum. Students will also participate in a street art workshop, visit the San Cristobal market, and team up with a local NGO for a hands-on community development project.

Leave with More Than Memories

Our goal is for participants to return home as active global citizens. At the end of our educational tours to Europe, every student receives an official Engaged Education Leadership Certificate of Completion to honor their growth and social impact work.

By handling every detail, from meals and hotels to local guides and community partnerships, we give teachers the freedom to focus entirely on inspiring their students.
